Arpan Shah, MD, joined Springfield Clinic's Critical Care Department on Feb. 16 and sees patients at HSHS St. John's Hospital. Dr. Shah earned his medical degree from Seth GS Medical College in Parel, Mumbai. He completed his internal medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y. He also completed fellowships in both infectious disease and pulmonary and critical care medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, Dr. Shah served as a physician in Springfield, Ill., and Austin, Texas, for five years.
