Abigail Greider, APRN, DNP, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Endocrinology team and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Carpenter. She collaborates with Dr. Kevin Hazard.

Abigail earned both her Doctor of Nursing Practice and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. She brings with her eight years of prior experience in health care.

Family ties led Abigail into the health care profession and to endocrinology. “My grandma was a nurse, as well as several of my aunts, so I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a nurse too,” says Abigail. “My stepmom and stepsister are Type I juvenile diabetics, and having grown up around them, I have gained an appreciation for the field of endocrinology.”

Abigail is passionate about building relationships with patients to help them through their diagnoses. “I believe that it should be a collaboration between the provider and the patient to come up with the best game plan,” says Abigail.

In her free time, Abigail enjoys playing video games, crafting, playing tabletop games with friends and spending time with her family.
