Billy Swift, ATC, is a part of Springfield Clinic’s Sports Medicine Team. In his role, Billy provides athletic training services and care for students and staff at Pleasant Plains High School.
“I was a part of many teams throughout high school and grade school,” says Billy. “I knew becoming an athletic trainer would allow me to continue to be a part of a team even after I was done participating in athletics.”
Billy earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Normal, Ill.
“I enjoy having the opportunity to help athletes get back to their pre-injury status so that they can continue to contribute to their teams,” says Billy.
In his free time, Billy likes to play golf, incorporate exercise into his everyday life and watch sports, especially hockey and football.
