Springfield Clinic’s Breast Cancer Center is your team of dedicated providers and staff who will be with you every step of your journey.
We understand that a cancer diagnosis is a frightening, complex, life-changing event, not only for you, but for your loved ones. This diagnosis also begins a journey of many steps. Springfield Clinic’s Breast Cancer Center is here to quickly and thoroughly provide a map for your care.
OUR TEAM APPROACH

Our multidisciplinary, comprehensive care approach is specifically designed for you and your treatment. A team of experienced providers from multiple specialties will work together with you to create care plan specific to your unique needs.
Your journey begins with our Registered Nurse Navigators who assist and support you and your loved ones throughout your journey. You can think of them as healthcare tour guides or travel agents. They are responsible for educating you about what to expect, assisting with finding resources along the way (support groups, community services, financial assistance, transportation, etc.) and ensuring all communication between you and the various members of your care team is seamless from your first visit with us until your last.

SAME-DAY, MULTIDISCIPLINARY BREAST CANCER CLINIC
New to the Breast Cancer Center is our same-day clinic which offers some patients the opportunity to meet with every member of our multidisciplinary team in a single day instead of over several appointments, days and locations. One visit where patients can get answers to their questions and feel confident in the plan moving forward.
Specialists seen during the same-day clinic may include:
Breast surgeons
Medical oncologists
Radiation oncologists
Genetics counselors
Plastic surgeons
Additionally, services housed at our Cancer Center include a state-of-the-art infusion center and an on-site pharmacy. We have fellowship-trained mammographers, physical therapists and occupational therapists. You will also meet your nurse navigator, who you've likely already spoken with. Our goal is for you and your family to feel empowered and clear on what your treatment plan is.
