Dr. Gonczy received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and then completed his residency in general surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Gonczy's practice includes a broad range of general surgery and surgical oncology procedures, with particular interest in surgery for cancer of the gastrointestinal system, liver and pancreas. He performs traditional open procedures, laparoscopic procedures and robotic surgery, as well as intraoperative ultrasound, ablation of tumors and endoscopic procedures.
