Urgent Care

About Us

Springfield Clinic Urgent Care is open 365 days a year and offers no-hassle, walk-in medical care-provided by board-certified family medicine specialists. Ideal for common illnesses and minor injuries that require a doctor's immediate attention, but may not be urgent enough for a visit to the hospital emergency room. Our four locations are fully equipped with necessary diagnostic services, including on-site lab and X-ray at each facility.

For your convenience, all Springfield Clinic Urgent Care locations offer the option to book an appointment online and reserve an appointment to reduce your wait time.

A visit to Urgent Care is considered an office visit by most insurance companies - which means you save time and money when you choose Urgent Care over the emergency room.

Our experienced team of physicians, advanced practitioners and nurses has the skills to diagnose and treat your illness or injury quickly and effectively. In cases when we would advise a trip to the hospital or you need follow-up care with your regular doctor, we will help coordinate the transfer of your medical information and care.

We can complete a Health Status Form for you at Urgent Care. Please let the provider or an employee know during the visit if you need a health status form. Because of privacy laws, we cannot fax you a form after you leave. These forms may indicate that you were seen at Urgent Care and may also provide details concerning your return to work date or any work restrictions.

Urgent Care policy is to not refill chronic medication. You must contact your primary care physician if you need a refill.

Yes. Telehealth visits are available with an Urgent Care provider daily between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for qualified individuals over the age of one.

COST: Telehealth for Urgent Care will be billed to your insurance. Copays will not be collected at the time of your visit, but will be billed as well. Please call Springfield Clinic Urgent Care at 217.528.7541 to see if your symptoms qualify for a telehealth visit.

Bring your insurance card and co-payment if you have one. If you do not have insurance, you will be required to make a $120 pre-payment and you will be billed for the additional charges.
