Rebecca Brenneisen, APRN, DNP, CNP, is a Family Medicine nurse practitioner at Springfield Clinic Main Campus West and collaborates with Jennifer Scheurmann, MD.

Becky was born and raised in Springfield. As the oldest daughter of seven, she always felt a calling to care for others. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and her undergraduate at Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing. Becky is most passionate about health and wellness and working with her patients to prevent any adverse health events.

“I love Family Medicine because I get to see all walks of life at all stages,” Becky says. “I love seeing entire families and watching them all grow from year to year.”

In her free time, Becky volunteers at her kids’ school, coaches her daughter’s soccer team and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She’s active in yoga and running, loves reading and considers herself a “foodie.”
