“When I was around 16, I decided I wanted to become a doctor,” says Dr. Venigalla. “My grandfather’s experience with diabetic neuropathy and dialysis was my driver to pursue a career in medicine.”
Dr. Venigalla treats patients from 18 years of age and older providing a wide range of care including diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol management.
“Internal medicine allows me to not just treat the patients but get to know them and be able to treat them in that context,” says Dr. Venigalla. “If I can help patients stay healthy, then they get to remain active and get to enjoy life.”
In her free time, Dr. Venigalla enjoys exercising, taking walks with her husband and children and taking vacations.
