Megan Davlin, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Bariatrics team at Springfield Clinic Main Campus East Building. She collaborates with Dr. Orlando Icaza.

Megan earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has more than 15 years of health care experience and most recently served as a nurse practitioner for Wexford Health. She also previously worked at Springfield Clinic as a registered nurse.

"After completing my CNA course, a nurse manager took a chance and hired me to work on her unit at a local hospital," says Megan. "After that first day, there was no stopping my passion and desire to further my education in health care."

Megan is excited to return to Springfield Clinic to serve as a nurse practitioner.

"I am most passionate about change and helping my patients recognize that their past does not have to define their future," says Megan. "As humans, I think that most of us are guilty of basing our self-worth and self-love in comparison to those around us. We are all unique and need an individualized plan of care to help us to become the best version of ourselves."

In her free time, Megan enjoys growing her relationship with Christ, riding bikes, swimming, reading and being her children's biggest fan at their sporting events. She is also active in her children's elementary school's PTO.
