Kathryn Cervi, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Internal Medicine department and collaborates with Pavinderpal Gill, MD, at Springfield Clinic Taylorville.
"My mom was a nurse and later a nurse practitioner, and my dad was also a provider in health care, so I grew up around it," says Kathryn. "I now will be doing family practice/internal medicine as an APRN and feel that this area is also very well rounded and provides a strong knowledge base and valuable skills."
Kathryn completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Bradley University in Peoria and her undergraduate degree at Millikin University in Decatur. She has more than seven years of nursing experience, previously serving as a registered nurse at Springfield Memorial Hospital and Taylorville Memorial Hospital.
Outside of work, Kathryn is involved with the Taylorville Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors, which helps raise money for the local school district and provides grants and funding for numerous projects throughout the district.
In her free time, Kathryn spends time with her husband and four young children. The family as a whole loves the outdoors, going boating or to the beach whenever possible. She also loves to read and shop and is looking forward to potentially teaching classes at the local YMCA.
