John Di Mondo, MD, is with Springfield Clinic’s Family Medicine Department seeing patients at Springfield Clinic Decatur. He joined Springfield Clinic in 2004.

Dr. Di Mondo earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Cupecoy, St. Maarten. He completed his family practice residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Decatur.

“It was my experience with my own family doctor that led me to having an interest in medicine,” says Dr. Di Mondo. His scope of practice includes working with patients of all ages from newborns to adults.

“I enjoy the community spirit we have here in Decatur,” says Dr. Di Mondo. “I enjoy each and every interaction I have with our staff and patients every day.”

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and bike riding.
