Emily Krofchick, APRN, DNP, CNP, collaborates with Dr. Dylan Afeld and will be seeing patients at our Springfield Clinic 1st - 800 Building.

Emily received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. She has nearly nine years of experience serving the central Illinois community in nursing roles.

Emily knew she wanted to pursue a career in health care since she was in high school. “It is the ideal field to make a lasting and meaningful impact on people’s lives,” Emily says. “I also found the combination of science, problem-solving and human connection in health care very fulfilling.”

Emily was born and raised in in the Springfield area and knew she always wanted to be a part of Springfield Clinic. “Springfield Clinic provides exceptional care and offers a wide array of disciplines to serve many communities throughout Illinois,” Emily says.

She is passionate about helping others through non-surgical and non-narcotic avenues. Emily hopes to incorporate a more holistic approach to improve pain and daily living for her patients.

In her free time, Emily enjoys exercising, travelling, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
