Amy Mann, APRN, CNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with Springfield Clinic General Surgery seeing patients at Springfield Clinic 1st - 900 Building. She collaborates with Dr. Eric High and Dr. Sean O’Malley.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Mich., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the St. John’s College of Nursing in Springfield. She has more than 15 years of nursing experience, including ten years as an operating room nurse at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
“I loved my time in surgery, but I always felt like I was missing the patient interaction aspect of patient care,” says Amy. “Now, I have the best of both worlds. I assist surgeons during breast surgery. Then I get to see those same patients in the survivorship clinic and help them through their recovery journey and beyond.”
Amy was certified by the American Society of Breast Surgeons in 2025 for treating patients with benign or malignant breast disease. She also offers a clinic for patients at high risk of developing breast cancer as well as counseling patients with benign breast biopsies and offering genetic testing.
In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, crafting and sewing.
