    Improved Easy Enrollment for New Users

    We’ve made enrolling in our patient portal, [email protected] powered by FollowMyHealth®, a much easier process that will validate your identity online. Simply follow the patient verification steps on screen and then have immediate access to securely manage your health 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

    The system will verify your identity electronically by asking a few questions and using publicly available information to check your answers. Some of this information is based on your credit history.  

    Don’t worry! This identity check will have no impact on your credit score, as credit information will be used solely to authenticate your identity.

    What do I do if I already have a FollowMyHealth® account set up for another provider or health care organization?

    Other regional health care organizations may also use the FollowMyHealth® platform, but you only need ONE account to access your records. If you already have a FollowMyHealth® account, you simply need to add Springfield Clinic to your connections. Directions are below. 

    1. Log in to your FollowMyHealth® account.

    2. Click the My Account tab, and then click Connections.

    3. Click Add Organization.

    4. Type Springfield Clinic into the Search field, and then press Enter.

    5. Click Springfield Clinic at 1025 South 6th Street from the choices, and then click Connect.

    After you select connect for SC to be added to your existing account, it will take you through the identity check questions from Experian, and you will receive notification that your connection is pending. Keep an eye out in your email for a "Welcome to Springfield Clinic" message from your new account.

    Manage the Health of Your Dependents

    Springfield Clinic’s [email protected] patient portal lets you manage the care of your loved ones by granting permission to authorized users and caregivers to access the health information of their dependents. The process of granting permission for Authorized Users will start in the providers office, as we do ask that you complete a form and share your photo ID in person.  Your request will then be reviewed by our portal support team, and you will receive an email invitation for connection.

    Authorized users have the full functionality of [email protected] to manage the health care of a dependent individual. In compliance with HIPAA laws and legal privacy, authorized user access is available in three categories – minors* (newborn through 11 years), dependent adults (18 years and up) and self-assigned. Once access is established, authorized users will be able to utilize the same great [email protected] features available from their personal accounts.

    I forgot my username and password. What can I do?

    If you have been locked out of your account because you forgot your username or password, please feel welcome to contact our portal support team by phone at 217.528.7541 ext. 31098 or by email at [email protected]

    I gave my email to Springfield Clinic when I checked in for my last appointment, why don’t I have a [email protected] account?

    Prior to using [email protected], you must go through the setup process on the website. Springfield Clinic cannot set up your account for you. Click here to set up your account. 

    Springfield Clinic’s front desk staff cannot set up your account for you. 

    I am trying to sign into my account. It won’t let me. What can I do?

    It is important to make sure you are signing in the same way you signed up. There are two buttons on the Follow My Health website. The first option is to sign up/sign in directly through the Follow My Health website, if this is how you signed up, then it is how you must sign in every time to access your medical records.

    The second option is to sign up/sign in using an alternative (e.g., Google account, Facebook account, Apple account). If you used one of these to sign up, then you must use that same account info to sign in every time. 

    Why does Springfield Clinic ask personal questions to set up a [email protected] account?

    We utilize identifying questions strictly to ensure the correct patient is connected to the correct patient record.
