Vladimir Lytchakov, MD, is with Springfield Clinic’s Internal Medicine Department seeing patients at our Main Campus East location in Springfield. He joined Springfield Clinic in 2008. Prior to joining the clinic, he served as an internal medicine physician at clinics in both Kentucky and Tennessee.
Dr. Lytchakov earned his medical degree and completed an internal medicine residency at St. Petersburg Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia. He also completed an internal medicine at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa.
“Being from a household where both my parents were doctors, I knew in high school that I wanted to follow that path as well,” says Dr. Lytchakov.
Dr. Lytchakov’s scope of practice includes adults of all ages. He primarily focuses on helping patients take preventive steps to ensure they do not get sick.
“It is very important that patients undergo all their preventive tests and scans,” says Dr. Lytchakov. “They all contribute to keeping the patient healthy in the long run.”
In his free time, Dr. Lytchakov enjoys spending time with his family, biking, cross country skiing, reading, watching movies and traveling.
