Pratish Shah, MD, provides care at Springfield Clinic’s Radiology Department.
The first physician in his family, Dr. Shah felt drawn to the medical field because of the ability to make a significant positive difference in people’s lives. “Despite the personal sacrifices, long hours and stress, I would do it all over again and I cannot see myself doing anything else,” says Dr. Shah. "I chose radiology because it lets me use my strengths to make the most meaningful impact in patients’ lives."
Dr. Shah earned his medical degree at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, India. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems in Phoenix, Ariz., and a neuroradiology fellowship at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. In his practice, Dr. Shah is especially interested in head and neck tumor imaging, temporal bone imaging and stroke imaging.
Dr. Shah is board certified in both radiology and neuroradiology. In his free time, Dr. Shah spends time with his two year old child, trying different kinds of food, traveling, interior design and listening to music.
