Morgan Winans, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Internal Medicine/Pediatrics team. She collaborates with Dr. Roger McClintock at Springfield Clinic Taylorville.

Morgan earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Ill., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University in Normal. She has provided care as a registered nurse in central and northern Illinois since 2020 and also had previous experience as a nursing assistant in home health and hospital settings.

Morgan found her passion for health care while caring for her elderly grandparents when she was younger. At the beginning of her career, she developed a varied background, providing nursing care in intensive care, surgery, dermatology and Mohs surgery. "This diverse background enables me to deliver comprehensive, detail-oriented care while prioritizing patient comfort, safety and optimal outcomes," she says.

In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with family and friends and cooking. She particularly likes trying new recipes.
