Heather Fulhorst, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Springfield Clinic Urgent Care Plus team.

Heather earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Illinois State University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Benedictine University. She has nearly 20 years of nursing experience in central Illinois and most recently served as a nurse practitioner at Central Counties Health Center in Springfield.

Heather always had a desire to help others and do it in a health care setting. "I remember getting on the bus to preschool and my grandparents asking me what I wanted to be and responding 'a nurse'," she says.

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and children. They enjoy camping, traveling and golfing together. She also volunteers for her community's YMCA Healthy Kid's Day and Operation Loaded Book Bag.
