About This Provider

Dr. Su provides treatment of adult and pediatric conditions that affect the eyelids, face, tear drainage system and orbit (anatomical structures around the eye). As a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Su understands how the delicate ocular structures may be affected by surgical treatment of the eyelids and its surrounding tissues. He will ensure that the health of your eyes plays a critical role in the assessment and treatment plans. There are only about 500 specialists world-wide who are members of ASOPRS and Dr. Su is currently the only member in central Illinois. Dr. Su graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in the neurosciences. He received his medical degree with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the Cullen Eye Institute/Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Su then pursued a two-year fellowship sponsored by ASOPRS at the Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Su has received numerous honors and research awards in medicine and has published many scientific articles and book chapters. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Su has given several presentations at national meetings and participates as a journal reviewer for several leading medical journals.
