Felicity Kras, APRN, CNP, provides care with our Springfield Clinic Trauma & Acute Care Surgery at HSHS St. John's Hospital.

Felicity earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Ky., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MacMurray College in Jacksonville. She has more than five years of experience in nursing and most recently served as a critical care nurse practitioner at Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, Calif.

"I started in health care at 17 when my grandmother became very sick," Felicity says. "I met great health care professionals who took care of her and, in turn, became my mentors. I was originally going to school for psychology and ended up changing my path to nursing because I found my passion in caring for others."

"I think what drives me is being able to learn new things in the acute care setting and taking on challenges in order to provide high-quality care to patients," Felicity says. "One of the most rewarding feelings is knowing you made a difference and played a part in someone's journey to recovery."

In her free time, Felicity enjoys traveling, hiking with her dogs and trying out new coffee shops and restaurants.
