Brittany Campbell, PA-C, provides care with Springfield Clinic Urgent Care Plus.
Brittany brings more than five years of clinical experience to Springfield Clinic. She earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Southern Illinois University after previously completing a Bachelor of Health Science with a minor in health care management from Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln, Neb., and an Associate in Applied Sciences in diagnostic cardiac sonography from John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill.

Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Brittany worked as a cardiac sonographer and most recently practiced emergency medicine with Mid-America Emergency Physicians, caring for patients in Springfield, Taylorville and Lincoln. She also holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Emergency Medicine.

Inspired by the health challenges experienced by members of her family, Brittany found her passion for emergency medicine during physician assistant training and knew it was the right fit. Brittany enjoys the fast-paced nature of acute care, the challenge of making timely clinical decisions and the opportunity to help patients during difficult moments. “I am passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care during some of the most stressful moments in a patient's life,” she says. 

Having worked in Springfield since beginning her health care career in 2012, Brittany has developed strong ties to the community and appreciates the exceptional quality of health care available throughout central Illinois. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and live music events, playing pickleball, reading and spending quality time with family and friends.
