Springfield Clinic invites community members to participate in Walk with a Doc, a free monthly walking program designed to promote health, wellness and connection. Walks are held on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. at Southwind Park in Springfield, coordinated by Springfield Clinic's Clinical Director of Wellness Diane Hillard-Sembell, MD.

Each walk is led by a Springfield Clinic physician and is open to individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Participants are encouraged to enjoy light physical activity while engaging with physicians in a relaxed, informal setting and connecting with others in the community.

Walk with a Doc supports Springfield Clinic’s ongoing commitment to improving community health and encouraging healthy lifestyles. All walkers are encouraged to RSVP and pre-register in advance here.

Walk with a Doc is a nonprofit that was started in 2005 by Dr. David Sabgir, a cardiologist in Columbus, Ohio. Today hundreds of local chapters exist around the world.
