After conducting a nationwide search in 2024, Springfield native Ryan Caldwell joined Springfield Clinic as Chief Financial Officer in March.  

Ryan brings nearly two decades of public accounting experience to Springfield Clinic and has spent most of his career working in the health care industry. Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, he served as an audit partner at RSM US LLP and oversaw RSM’s Central Illinois health care practice.

In his role, Ryan oversees the Clinic’s financial planning and analysis, accounting and physician compensation teams.  

Ryan lives in Rochester with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as attending his children's sporting events.

He also loves to travel and is active in his local church.
