Springfield Clinic’s downtown drive-up lab (currently at 1227 S. 7th Street) has relocated to 701 South 6th street and is open starting Oct. 26.

This new drive-up lab location provides four drive-up bays for patients to pull their car into and is designed to shelter them from the elements while they receive care. Both routine blood draw lab services (including those that require fasting) and flu shots will be available at this location. The new address is:

Springfield Clinic Downtown Drive-Up Lab
701 S. 6th Street
Springfield, IL 62703

This location is in addition to Springfield Clinic’s new drive-up lab on the west side of Springfield, located at 3040 Hamlin Parkway.

Who can use our drive-up labs?
Springfield Clinic’s drive-up lab services are available to all patients in the community, not just those who see Springfield Clinic providers. Patients who do not see doctors at Springfield Clinic, Memorial Physician Services and SIU Medicine will need physical orders in hand from their provider’s office.

How does the downtown drive-up lab work?
When you arrive at the downtown drive-up lab location, you will follow signs to pull into the lane for the service for which you are there. When you reach the garage doors, you will call the number on the sign to register for your lab work or shot and receive further instructions.
You will not receive any results at the drive-up location; results will be communicated to patients in the same manner results are currently received.
