Springfield Clinic Ranks in the Top 100 of Newsweek’s Annual List of Most Loved Workplaces
Springfield Clinic has once again been certified as a Most Loved Workplace®, backed by Best Practice Institute (BPI) research and analysis and ranked in the annual Top 100 of companies nationally by Newsweek.
“We listened to our employees’ feedback from last year’s survey,” says Springfield Clinic Chief Human Resources Officer Katie Bussing, “and we’re really proud of the many enhancements we were able to make to the employee experience, including benefits, professional development, communication and transparency and recognition. We’re looking forward to digging into this year’s results and finding out how we can continue making this a most loved workplace for our employees.”
Most Loved Workplaces® certifies companies where employees are the happiest and most satisfied at work. Springfield Clinic continued as a Most Loved Workplace for 2023 based on its scores on the Love of Workplace Index™, which surveyed employees on various elements around employee satisfaction and sentiment, including the level of respect, collaboration, support and sense of belonging they feel inside the company.

The Top 100 ranking results were determined after surveying more than 2 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 100,000. The list recognizes companies that have created a workplace where employees feel respected, inspired and appreciated and are at the center of the business model.

Methodology
To identify the top 100 companies for the Newsweek ranking, companies were evaluated and scored as follows: 35 percent of the initial score was based on employee survey responses; 25 percent was derived from analysis of external public ratings from sites such as Comparably, Careerbliss, Glassdoor, Indeed and Google; and 40 percent came from direct interviews with and written responses from company officials. Newsweek then conducted additional research into every company on the list, as well as the top runners up, to determine the final list of 100 companies and their ranking. (The list includes both U.S. firms and companies with a strong U.S. presence that are based overseas.)
